1. My favorite player, Brendon Ayanbadejo, holding up the front page news. 2. We definitely got the hotter Harbaugh brother. 3. Touchdown! 4. We're going to the Super Bowl!
I did not grow up an NFL fan. At all. But I married into a family who it would be an understatement to say are diehard Baltimore Ravens fans. After last year's soul-crushing loss to the Pats in the AFC Championship game {when M broke things before going catatonic for the better part of the next week}, this was a sweet, sweet victory. We won't be making the trek to NOLA for the game, but we'll definitely be rooting on the home team from Baltimore! Go Ravens!

Hilarious how you described your husbands mental state...(though I am sure at the time it was not funny). I am happy that they won too, I am not a die hard football fan but it was great to see a deserving team take the prize. It should be one heck of a great game!
I'm from Baltimore and am beyond excited to see the Raven in the Super Bowl!! Cannot wait!
While my Hubby is still sad that the Redskins are not going to the big dance, we will be cheering the Ravens on to victory! I have already started planning a menu around Old Bay;)
Love this post - to see the Ravens get some love from the Blogger community is great! I used to cheer for the BR and one of my best friends still does. Can you imagine being on the field for the Super Harbowl XLVII? What a way to go out on top! Cheers!
Not sure we can be friends anymore, well at least till football season is over and SF wins the Super Bowl.

You know I am a Skins fan. However, when watching the game on Sunday I did let out a few claps and cheers for the Ravens. I was caught up in the sea of purple!
