I bought my girls monogrammed boat totes from the Bean, so I'm partial to those, but the pashminas look LOVELY too.
I just have to chime in here. I'm the proud owner of 3, yes three, monogrammed totes, all from LLBean, all pink. I received each one as my bridesmaids gift filled with goodies. So if it were me, I would LOVE a pashmina because how many monogrammed totes does one girl need??? I also have to say all 3 of them have my name on them vs. my monogram. I'm not a fan of using your full name on stuff when you are an adult. I think a monogram looks much more chic.
If you are going to the tote route, I like the ballard designs ones so much! I also have one of these and love it!
I adore my L.L. Bean totes and give them as gifts often. people seem to always use them
Monogrammed LLBean tote. Hands down. They'll use it forever and ever. Pashminas can only be worn with certain things (since they're a particular color) and to be honest, I don't care for monograms on them.

i would say the monogrammed pashmina only because i have received no less than 15 monogrammed ll bean totes for one reason or another. the pashminas in a classic color combo would be timeless and unique!
I gave my girls monogrammed lands end totes. If you go with the scarves don't do the pashminas. I ordered those pashminas as Christmas presents and they arrived with holes in them from the monogramming bc the pashmina material had a hard time holding up to the stress of the machine. She sent me the exact same thing in the regular scarves and it was MUCH better.

Monogrammed LL bean tote all the way! I gave these to my bridesmaids seven years ago, and some of them still use them to this day!! Good luck! P.S. Love the Toms. Lucky, lucky! :)
