Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day 2Hard to believe that Valentine's Day is less than a month away!  We don't make Valentine's a big to-do in our house.  I make a nice dinner at home {no prix-fixe menus for us, thanks} and we normally just get each other a small little something.  It doesn't help that I'm not a huge fan of cut flower arrangements, especially at Valentine's Day.  I'd much rather have a potted bloom to enjoy for months!  Here are a few things I wouldn't mind receiving...

Hard to believe we are onto the next holiday...my poor bare Christmas tree is still up (shhhh). I have to check out the rose face mask, I bet its heavenly! And of course this day MUST include chocolates..duh!

JM and I celebrate our anniversary on February 20th, so we also downplay Valentines Day - I think last year we just gave each other cards and then did the whole fancy date night dinner thing on the 20th.

I always make dinner for my husband instead of dining out for Valentine's as well! What are you planning this year?

I'm so glad to see someone else appreciates State Fair. One of my absolute favorites. We like to get Middle Eastern take out on Valentines Day. Add an old romantic movie like Roman Holiday and I'm set.

I agree on having dinner in and on the cut flowers!

I am super into decorating for Valentine's day but I don't really do much for the actual holiday (especially since I am currently single). Maybe have some girl friends over for dinner

I'm obsessed with the fresh rose mask--I think its a miracle worker and the tassel clutch is so pretty!

Love the Asos clutch bag. It's so pretty! I will be doing the same thing I do every year for valentines - wine with my friends!
