this weekend i...

*FINALLY got to eat at the red hen, a local restaurant i've been begging the beau to take me to for the better part of a year.  it did not disappoint.

*had my second bridal shower, given by two of my dearest friends in small town, va.  we had cupcakes, an assortment of stinky cheeses, and champagne {my three main food groups}.

*finished all of my thank-you notes from shower #1.

*called the cops on some redneck who left his sweet, eldery beagle locked in the car.  it was pushing 90 degrees.  people, there is absolutely no reason or excuse why you should EVER EVER leave your pet{s} in the car, even with the windows cracked.

*had a nervous breakdown in the middle of sam's when i found out that we have to add almost $3000 to our catering budget.  this news does not jive well with my carefully planned budget.

*loved on this sweet dude.  he always manages to cheer me up.

*the beau discovered my blogging secret.  if you're reading this, hi, honey!

what did you do?

AHH I don't understand why people leave pets in cars like that either- blows my mind. Pets are family!

My boyfriend recently found out about my blogging secret too! At first he didn't understand why I didn't tell him- but he's fine with it haa

My boyfriend read my blog a lot while he was in Iraq. I hated it, though, because it made it so that we had less to talk about when we finally got to talk on the phone... because he already knew everything that happened.

Now that he's home, I think he forgot that I have a blog.

W. doesn't visit my blog. I'm sorry that you had to add $3000 to your catering budget. I know that it's important to feed your guests at a wedding, but DARN, it's so expensive to do that!!!

Glad you had a good weekend!

This weekend I moved in to college and my car overheated on the side of 81 South! I felt like a dog locked in a car, it was so hot!!
