what did the easter bunny bring me?

an easter miracle in the form of this handsome fella returning home.  i tried to tell my pops that it was a bad idea to let him run off leash in a wide open space, but nooooo, nobody listens to me.  as if i know what's best for my own puppy boy. pshaw.  at least he looked cute while making a run for it.

a basket full of goodies, courtesy of my mama.  you'll see nestled amongst the plastic grass the newly re-released animated alice in wonderland {a gem, if you ask me}, a chocolate bunny {because it's easter and you kind of have to}, prunes {don't ask...they're like candy to me}, cadbury mini eggs {they're like crack cocaine to me}, orbit mint mojito gum {mojito = sold}, a kroger gift card {because my mom is very practical}, and cleverly hidden in one of the eggs, a gift certificate for a pedicure {self-explanatory}.  nice job, easter bunny.

and more meds! yes, friends, we are going on week four of the sinus infection from hell.  the doctor called in the big guns, aka prednisone, last night.  i am not-so-patiently awaiting the results of the FOURTH medicine i've been put on in as many weeks.  pretty sure at this point you could sell my body to science.  le sigh.  i would really like to not cough anymore.
